Facebook Launches Summer of Support Program to Provide Digital Marketing Training

The economy has got a terrific blow in the times of this ongoing COVID-19. Due to lockdown, entrepreneurs are focusing on commencing their operations online, and most of them are already doing so. The lack of a right roadmap, motivation, and the blurred future leave them distraught. As rightly said, “Nothing is good or bad; it’s our perspective that judges the situation.” On the same notion, Facebook has announced six-week training sessions on digital marketing, starting from this week to provide support, motivation, and information about business strategies, to MSBs and startups.

“We’re bringing free, digital marketing education to businesses all over the country. So join us for six weeks of digital training classes, insightful interviews with business experts, and presentations from renowned entrepreneurs – all to help businesses get back to business.”

Let’s look into the course as it has been divided into weekly slots. Each week, a new subject will be focussed.

June 24-28- “The Changing World”

As there is an ongoing shift across the world almost in every aspect of our existence, it has not just affected our health; but has revamped standards of our living. On the business fronts, it is wise to understand the situation outright and how we can respond to this reality. 

June29-July5- “Resilience”

     “Amidst a deep hole, there is still a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Everyone knows the economy has turned upside down, and the businesses are drowning. But, every setback brings an opportunity to propel vigorously. Discover how to be resilient in times of change and how one can turn it into an opportunity to excel. 

July 6-12- “Reinvention”

This stage needs a lot of introspection, and it is the toughest one to accept and work upon, but when embraced whole-heartedly, it will do wonders. We will tell you how revamping and remaking your business can help you pioneer these opportunities in front of you.

July13-19- “Re-Emergence”

Once the catastrophe ends, how will you start living with the new model? This phase of Re-emergence means having a clear understanding of what needs to be omitted and what needs to be recalibrated or modified.

July-20-26 “Customers & Commerce” 

If you can help your customers in times of adversity, then remember you will stand out when the economy picks up again. Focus on how you can make your business more customer-centric and win their trust in the long run.

July 27-31 “Community”

A business that thinks for its community and strives hard to make it stronger and better, always going to flourish. Learn how you can make your business an essential component for your society or community. 

All of the above-mentioned sessions will be run online, at the new ‘Summer of Support’ minisite with videos posted on the site, and further information will be shared on the Facebook for Business Page.
